    Hello,

I had set my <H1> on the customizer for the homepage and tried to inspect and there was none available on the markup. Did I miss anything?

    Note: Site not live yet

    Hi,

Please go to Appearance → Customize → Homepage → General → Add More <H1> Tag for Homepage: add the H1 content on this option field.

    Hi,

Your page was built with the Elementor Page Builder, so please add the H1 heading via the Heading element.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Can you please show me a snippet on how to do it? Just to make sure that I got you right.

And by the way, I just went live, you might to check the inspector yourself: https://boardingaisle.com/

    Hi,

Please edit the homepage with the Elementor, then select the Penci Fancy Heading and change the heading tag from H2 to H1:

And then hide the H1 title I suppose, after putting it right there?

    PenciDesign replied

    Hi,

No. The page title of your site will display h1 instead of h2.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

  • angemman replied

Yes, I know, but I  just want the markup NOT to display on my homepage, if you know what I mean.

    Hi,

You can add the custom HTML element on the Elementor, then put the H1 content & hidden it for all devices.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

  • angemman replied

But that might affect my SEO, doesn't it?

    Hi,

No. This doesn't affect the on-page SEO OR you can show h1 with a small size.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.
