    How can I hide the author byline on posts? Simple CSS on the .author-post class doesn't seem to work, and I don't see a control in the WP admin to hide this detail. At the very least, where does one edit the author? on the post page, the standard WP author field appears to have been removed.

    Hi,

    Please go to Appearance → Customize → Posts Layouts

    → Standard & Classic: turn on the "Hide Post Author" option,

    → Other Layouts: turn on the "Hide Post Author" option,

    Navigate to Single Posts → General: turn on the "Hide Post Author" option,
