transfer licence from staging site to live site

    Hi there!

I've redesigned my entire website using a staging site offline while working on it. The staging site was https://paddock2pixel.com/test. I bought a licence for your theme Soledad that I've used to create the staging site. About a month ago I've pushed the site live. The live site is https://paddock2pixel.com/. No more 'test'. It worked brilliantly for the last few weeks.

A few days ago I wanted to log onto wp-admin, when a licence activation window popped up. See attached screen shot. It asked me to enter my licence code for the theme, which I did, but then a warning popped up saying the licence is for the test site only, that I'd have to buy a new licence. See screen shot for the exact message.

Do I really need to buy another licence? That seems strange, given that the staging site was never live and I only created it to build the website in the background. How can the licence be transferred to my real, live site?

Thank you for your help, Julia

    Hi,

I've revoked this license, please register it on the new domain.

In the future, please go to dashboard → Soledad → Theme License: click the Revoke License button if you want to transfer this code to another domain.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Hi, sorry, not very good with technology here...

Where do I go to register it on the new domain? In Wordpress? In my Envato account?

I seem to be able to get back into my Wordpress dashboard without the message popping up. Do I need to do anything at all? Sorry, I'm confused.

    Thanks

    Julia

    Hi,

I've already registered it on the new domain for you. You can check it on the dashboard → Soledad → Theme License.
