    Hello,

we must deactivate Google Fonts for legal reasons on our website.

How can I do that best in Soledad?

I would like to keep the fonts "bitter" and "PT sans", that are currently activated.

If that's not possible, which fonts must I choose in order to deactivate Google fonts?

    Best,

    Eric

    Hi,

Please go to Appearance → Customize → General → GDPR Policy: turn on the "Remove all default google fonts - load default fonts from located hosting" option field.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Hello, thank you for the quick reply. I just did this.
Do I still use Google Fonts now or is it fixed?

What tool should I use to check?

    Thanks,

    Eric

    Hi,

All the Google Fonts of your site now stop loading from the Google server. If you're using Google Chrome, you can install this extension to check which Fonts currently loading on your site.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Thank you!

I tried the extension. It tells me the font, but not, where it is loaded from.

I need to be really sure, that no Google Fonts are loaded from Google server anymore. How can I check that?

    Thank you,

    Eric

    Hi,

Please also check all the fonts you've used in another plugin (WPBakery Page Builder plugin). The options you've turned on only apply to the fonts enqueue by Soledad Theme.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.
