Nothing fancy, just a search bar. Because it's not clear enough for my visitors where to find the current search. So they can easy search through all the posts (recipes).
Ok, but I don't have a child theme.. Is there another way to get a search field in the Penci slider on the homepage? Seems an easy feature right? It will be a big help to me.
If you want to show the search form on the homepage without modifying any theme files, you need to build this page with the Elementor/WPBakery Page Builder, then drag & drop the search to any position you want to show.
Hi,
A while ago I asked if the the new feature 'header search' can be added in the newest update.
I'd like to add a search bar in de header on the homepage (in the penci slider): https://prnt.sc/TBQcrd6NysKx

Thanks for your reply.
Are you gonna customize the code? Because all your edited will be gone after an update, right?
Hi,
Yes. All the customization codes will be lost if you've added this to the parent theme.
If you want to keep all the modified settings, you need to add this to the child theme.
