    Hi,

    I took a time out working on my test site. So far I'm quite happy with the result of the homepage. But I have two questions to change the design a bit:

    1. I like the design the first post on the homepage. But could I use a grid-style layout for the next posts?

    2. Between the posts I would like to use some fixed boxes. For example: after the thirs and after the fifth post. I tried to do this with customizing, and added a 'formated box' but it didn't appear.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    1. You can use the mixed layout by going to Appearance > Customize > Homepage > General > Homepage Layout.

    2. If you want to add custom content between the latest posts, please scroll down to the bottom of General section and then add the content to "In-feed Ads Code/HTML".

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    This answer don't solve my problems.

    1. What I want is the first, most recent post, to be as big as the column width. And the next posts in a 2-column grid style.

    2. I course I can use HTML to produce a box. But how can I place it in the right place - after the 3rd , or after the 5th post?
    I thought I could use formatted boxes.

    Thanks
    Ton

    Hi,

    1. If you want to create a multi-layout for the post list, please consider building your page with the Elementor page builder plugin, here is a document detail: https://soledad.pencidesign.net/soledad-document/#homepage

    2. Do you check the options I've written in the previous reply, we've already included the option name "Insert In-feed Ads Code After Every How Many Posts?", just enter the number of the post you want to show the HTML code banner here.

    Hi,

    https://villabalibreeze.com/elementor-1587/

    I followed your advice to build the page with Elementor. I'm used to the page builder Cornerstone, not Elementor. So I tried to build a new page with Elementor, that is new to me.
    I succeeded to make a Formatted box, but there I have a problem. As you can see on the attachment: the headline is in the middle of the image. I would like to push that downwards. I have no idea how to do that.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    Please go to Appearance → Customize → Custom CSS then add the following custom CSS code:

    ul.homepage-featured-boxes .penci-fea-in h4 {
        top: auto;
        bottom: 0;
    }

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.
