    Hi,

I disabled some of the image size through Customizer, and saved.

Now I uploaded an image and many sizes were created: the one I left enabled (red point next to them) and many more. Why so?

How does it work and how can I avoid it? I'd like to have just the original image and the sized I left enabled.

Please see screenshot attached with Manage Image Sizes panel and thumbnails created.

    Thanks

    Hi,

In general, if you want to fully optimize your hosting storage, you should disable all the image sizes, and your site will display the full-size image for all layouts.

    Hi,

I disabled all image sizes (screenshot attached) but for the last images I uploaded (after disabling them) I still see some of the thumbnails created (in blue in the second screenshot attached). Why so?

Also, where are the other thumbnails coming from? Wordpress should create just the 3 image thumbnails indicated in Settings > Media, shouldn't it?

    Are they from Elementor?

I mean, even with all the Image Sizes disabled I still got 18 or 19 thumbnails for every image I upload through WP media library. How can I reduce this number?

    Thanks

    Hi,

If you want to disable it, you need to TURN ON all the "Disable image" options, the current state on the screenshot is TURN OFF.

    Ops sorry! You're right.

What about other thumbnails? Are they from Elementor ?

    thanks

    Hi,

Yes. Maybe it comes from one of the Elementor element you've created.
