No matter what I try, I cannot disable the vertical navigation feature on a published page, etc - clearing cache, multiple browsers, disabling plugins (including Elementor,) etc - produced not changes. The vertical navigation remains. What is odd is that, even when disabled, the vertical menu can be moved from the left to the right and back.

    Any suggestions?

As you can see from the attachment, the issue is not showing up here. THe issue happens when I try to create a page.

Unfortunately, that was one of the first things I tried. Many times, on many different pages. Publishing the page doesn't change the result. The right vertical navigation is still there.

Also, the header is not correct either. Changing the header setting on the Wordpress side only gets rid of the header entirely.

Welp, I went back in and looked at the Appearance menu again and published the element (as opposed to the page.) Thanks for the tip!!!!!!!
