    Hello PenciDesign,

I'm having trouble with WP Bakery finding the video format for Post Format Data in the amounts. Since WP Bakery denies me access by pasting its own code into the Classic Editor page after editing a post, I was unable to edit and create Video Post Format pages.

Since I edit all pages with Classic Editor and the video source for the post format video is also displayed here at the beginning of the page, I manually removed the WP Bakery code from all pages and then consistently deleted the WP Bakery plugin.

As it turned out, however, the theme requires the plugin, because when I wanted to go to the Customizer, it could not correctly interpret the code of the homepage page, since it was created entirely in the WP Bakery.

Since I don't want to completely reinstall the theme so that the CSS entries or other things are not overwritten, I searched for the plugin in the current ZIP file and finally found it in the Wordpress Installation for required plugins.

And... taaadaaa... there the Homepage came back to life again in the Customizer.

So my current question is how do I use WP Bakery to assign a Video Format for Post Format Data to a post and provide a source?

    Regards,
    Alexander

    Hi,

You can add the post format data by like the screenshot below:

In general, you should use WPBakery Page Builder for the page only by going to dashboard > WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager > Post types: select Pages only.

    Hello PenciDesign,

To disable WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager > Post types: select Pages only was the right answer. Thanks!

No idea why articles were activated.

    Alexander

    Hi,

By default, WPBakery only applies to Pages. Perhaps you have enabled it in the past.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.
