I know how to create private post, but when post is created and published as private it is not visible for administrator on home page. In previous themes (Jannah and etc) that post will be visible for administrator level and then administrator can make revision of post when he notice new private post on homepage slider.
Now administrator need to go in Dashboard - Posts and keep checking is there a new post from authors...

The current version of the PenNews only gets the post with "published" status. We'll improve this query in the future theme update.
