So I know that I can make the post itself a video format and that the YT video I'm using will be the "featured image" of the individual post. However, I am wondering how I can make everything else (e.g., recent posts block) show this video as well? The majority of my posts feature videos, and so for each one, it is creating it's own thumbnail from the YT videos thumbnail itself. This is causing a ton of images to be uploaded, as the video will end up with several generated images etc.

I don't need the thumbnail video to play the video, it can just still open up the post.
I know this is possible with the "really simple featured video" plugin, but it doesnt work with the soledad theme. It worked with a previous theme and then when I used this one instead, it was no longer showing the video as the thumbnails etc
Okay so I just used that plugin again and i can tell that its trying to do something because my featured image is now white, but it should be showing the video. That's how it would do it with my last theme so I'm just not sure what to change to get it to show the video. I dont want 100s of images on my site once I start adding in posts etc because there will be a lot of content.
