I want several pages to have a custom slider on top. How to do this? By template? Couldn‘t find them in the backend. Thank you in advance for help. Regards, Lutz
P.S.: I think this is controlled by templates. In your Youtube playlist I couldn‘t find a tutorial how to deal with templates in Soledad.
Please go to the page editor screen → Page Options → General → Select Featured Slider/Featured Video to Display on Top of This Page.: select the style you want to show at this option.
- get rid of the slider shown be default (like on startpage https://cst.lutzkasper.de/) and - show the slider that I generated with „Elementor“ in subpage https://cst.lutzkasper.de/carola-private-page/
For this specific situation, please send me your WordPress admin account details through a PRIVATE message. I will then log in and create a demo page for your site.
1. All the page templates are located in the wp-content/themes/soledad folder,
2. If you want to insert the Elementor slider on the top, please go to the dashboard → Penci Blocks: create a new Block & edit it with the Elementor. Then copy the block shortcode and paste it into the "Revolution Slider Shortcode",
3. If you want to customize the sidebar content, I recommend you should build a full page with the Elementor.
I did the 2 steps to get a custom slider on top of the page and run into 2 new issues: - in „Elementor“ I choosed the „Penci Custom Slider“. I can custumize anything, which is great. But the most important thing: insert images - no option found! - when I try to open my slider-„Penci Block“ again, I get an error (see attachment). „Click here for preview debug“ did not work and the page „Learn More“ was no help for me.

On subpage https://cst.lutzkasper.de/carola-private-page/ I want to have a different slider on top. I tried to show what I want to acheive in the image attached on thursday.
On this subpage I want to

And:
