after testing the shop, unfortunately, we noticed the following behaviour from the theme - the same happens with and without using an additional cache plugin:
After adding a Product to the CART and coming back to the shop/blog/pages - the speed of the SHOP PAGE completely crashes and the loading of everything else (post, other pages, etc) takes forever and it doesn't recover. After seeing the CPU performance on the server side after adding a Product to the CART and coming back to the SHOP SITE /blog posts, etc. - it went crazy as it increased by 30-40%. I got information that it should be an AJAX problem from the theme. Can you help me out with that? I'm running in circles with these issues ... Thank you
I can confirm that this issue is related to the Elementor Theme Builder and the element you've used to build the shop page. I've mentioned in previous messages that if you want to use the Elementor Theme Builder with WooCommerce, you should use the Elementor PRO products element.
The Penci Elementor Ajax Tab may not work properly when inserted into the archive page because it doesn't support this feature. To resolve this, you should use the recommended Elementor PRO products element for your shop page.
So I removed the page built with Elementro Pro (of course deleting cache, CSS, whatever else) and now I have the default basic /shop page from woocommerce/soledad. But UNFORTUNATELY, the same thing happens - everything runs perfectly and fast until I add a product to the cart. After adding a product to the cart and trying to load the shop, another product, a related product, another page, etc. - it Takes longer than 30 seconds!! This happens only after adding a product to the cart. So the issue is not coming from elementro pro, as suggested by you. What else might be the issue?
The problem may be one of your installed plugins has a conflict with WooCommerce,
To troubleshoot this, please disable all plugins (except for the ones that come with the Soledad theme) and then reactivate them one by one. This will help you identify which plugin is causing the issue.
We did this, I deleted the Elementor Pro from the shop page as you told me THIS IS the reason why it is not working... then we troubled shot all the plugins, tested the cache (with, and without) - and aslo worked with a developer on that - he told us, it is something from the Theme. The product pages are NOT built with Elementor everything is from Soledad.
After adding a product to the cart and trying to load the shop/ another product/a related product, another page, etc. - it Takes longer than 30 seconds, wich is not the case before adding a product to the cart, as the website is super fast before that.
I hope you will help me further on that, right now as it is - Soledad is NOT really functional as Shop as Shop right now - the loading totally disappears after adding a product to the cart - this should NOT happen. Thank you in advance!
The issue you're facing with WooCommerce actions doesn't seem to be related to the Soledad theme. The theme primarily customizes the appearance and layout of WooCommerce elements on the front-end, but the functionality and background processes are handled by the WooCommerce plugin itself. Since this issue appears unique to your site, it may not be directly caused by the theme.
You can verify this by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme and checking if the problem persists. If it does, then it's likely an issue with the WooCommerce plugin or some other specific configuration on your site.
The developer told me it is most probably a loop happening after adding a product to the cart. We checked all the plugins but the issue didn't change so it should be a combination between woocommerce and Soledad. Can you please look at the issue as it is absolutely important for the shop I'm willing to promote soon? Right now, it won't be good at all to have a shop with this problematic functionality ... and I don't want to change the theme, as I'm really happy with it ... but the shop is not working properly due to the add-to cart issue and breaking the speed. I would be very thankful! I really appreciate any help you can provide.
I've examined the Soledad theme on my local testing and demo sites and have not encountered an issue similar to the one on your site. However, I will invest the time to further investigate and assist you in resolving the issue.
I'm currently still in the process of checking and debugging this issue. It appears to be specific to your setup and not related to the Soledad theme or our testing site, which is why it's taking longer to resolve. I'll continue working on it to find a solution. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you. I hope you will solve it soon because the shop is ready, but this issue is "killing" everything - I cannot promote it with this wrong functionality ...
I mentioned in the previous reply that I'll update this ticket once the problem is resolved. This is a challenging case as I haven't encountered a similar issue before.
