    Hi,

there is an issue after entering a coupon code in the checkout - after that, the section for payment gets disabled (grey) and cannot proceed to payment - do you know what could be the issue? Before entering the coupon code, the payment section was normal:

    Hi,

I've checked your site, the error comes with the Mini Ajax Cart for WooCommerce plugin.

Please try to deactivate this plugin and then check again.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Thank you, it is deactivated - css & cache is cleared and refreshed. It still doesn't work in any Browser 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Hi,

Maybe this is an issue with the Elementor Checkout Template.

Please try to temporarily switch to the default WooCommerce template and then check again.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Hi, I switched it off and deleted css/cache and is still not working. It is not the Elementor Page Builder. But I am wondering if Soledad is not compatible with Elelementor Pro as you always suggest that the Pro version is the fault for everything that is not working properly??? I also switched on and off all the other plugins that have something to do with checkout - but the coupons are still disabling the payments

    Hi,

You always have to tell me what you do and change - now, the coupon is here, but our recaptcha is not, as weel the AJAX mini cart plugin which was there to solve the speed issue break after adding the product to the cart, because Soledad theme does not have clear definition for AJAX fragments in the mini cart.

Tell me what you did. because now we have many other new problems after your fix of this solution. YOu cannot just deöete or turn off whatever you want - you have to tell and aks first, because other things are broke now.

    Hi,

I've disabled some plugins for testing; you can now enable them again. I added some extra CSS to force the display of the coupon at Appearance → Customize → Custom CSS. You've installed many WooCommerce extra plugins, so there might be a conflict with another.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hello,

    1. If you deactivate plugins, you should activate them again after you make changes to my website and code - my plugins are important for the functions of my website.

    2. I understand that my website is now very complex because it includes a blog (made with different page builders) and a Woocommerce shop.

    3. The Ajax Mini Cart plugin solves the problem for me with the missing Ajax definition and Ajax Fragment Definition in your Soledad theme. Unfortunately, my mini cart is not displayed correctly without this plugin.

    4. The coupon works now,  BUT there is no longer an update field in my checkout - this means that if you add a coupon the Calculation of THE TOTAL COST is not happening automatically as it Should.

Another BIGGER issue in the checkout now with this configuration is that The Shipping Cost is not changing in real-time when choosing the shipping destination which also means that the Total Price is not updated automatically - Before that, the shipping costs were adapted automatically to the country of delivery.

These functions cannot be changed only with CSS code. Please share what else have you changed on the site.

    5. Please take another look at my site!! Ad if you change something/delete/deactivate - you have to make a protocol with everything and share it with me....

    6. If deactivating the Ajax Mini Cart is necessary, you must find a solution for the real-time query of the Mini Cart that is working properly.

    7. The problem with the syntax error and lazy loading from my other ticket is still not completed. Is it possible that everything described above also happens because of this?

    `Thank you for your Help

It is very unprofessional to change codes / edit /disable plugins without letting me know what you did exactly. This never happened before with Soledad Support, I've always been told what was thhe problem - what would be the solution.

After you told me the issue with the coupon is fixed - the Totals and The Shipping calculation was not working. I told you that, and you changed something with the mini cart plugin - what was what you changed? Since then, there is a problem with adding products to the cart and many others.

Please tell me what exactly you did (what did you change? What was the issue for the coupon not working and what caused the shipping costs not to work after these edits?) because since then I have multiple additional problems and I need to find why.

The shop doesn't load (takes over 2 minutes),  adding products to the shop after the shop is loaded - is not working properly as well .. (takes time with loadimg)

it cannot be only from changing CSS?! What else did you changed/disabled?

The CPU gets over 90%+ and I get a message for Data Bank error when I try to open the shop page and single products. Since this edit for the checkout page, the shop and products don't load ;( It is getting worse than better.

    Hi,

I added custom CSS code and disabled some third-party WooCommerce plugins for debugging purposes. No additional PHP code was added, and there were no modifications to plugin or theme settings.

To manage and resolve your site problems more effectively, I recommend setting up a staging site. This allows us to debug and test code without directly affecting your live site. Errors on your site do not occur on my testing site, so direct edits on your site are necessary.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

You can close this Ticket as I had to make a complete Backup from the 7th of November as the issues were enormous after "the small changes".
