We just went live with our new site built on the Soledad theme last night. We're curious about how the Popular Posts widget is getting populated as we see a lot of old content showing up. Is this because we have only just gone live and there's not enough data for it yet or is something else wrong?
In WordPress we have it set to Once Weekly and we do see recent stories showing up. But on a post it's completely different (and it keeps changing).
Screenshots attached to show what we see in the backend and on a post.
The issue arises from the difference between live data on the back-end and cached data used by the front-end through WordPress and your installed cache plugin. If you wish to synchronize the data between the front-end and back-end, you'll need to deactivate the cache plugin. However, this action will impact the page loading speed in terms of performance.
