I have finally managed to obtain high performance metrics using this amazing theme. The only thing that doesn't change score is  "Accessibility". Its stuck on 82% no matter what I do, which is not good enough in such a high competitive world of google. I saw other sites using the same theme and they have the  score 82% for accessibility. So its not something I have done.

Please see attachment and kindly point me to how to deal with these issues.

    Thank you

    Hi,

The issue seems to be related to the color you've selected.

Please navigate to Appearance → Customize → General → Colors and adjust the color to match the recommended contrast. You can follow the guide and select the new color from this link: https://coolors.co/contrast-checker/112a46-acc8e5

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

I changed all colors and the accessibility score did not change. I chose a color based on the link you provided for color contrast. The issue with the written by: please see attachments.

I don't know how to change the color for the written by box.

    Kindly advise.

I have an issue with Links only rely on color to be distinguishable.  Please advise do I need to put underlying line? If so how do I do this for the whole site.

Lists do not have proper list structure. I think these are the main issues with Accessibility. Kindly refer to attached Images.

    Hi,

To fix this issue, you need to change the layout to either list or standard. The problem arises because Google does not allow custom HTML tags inside the UL tag. Therefore, if you want to address this issue, you shouldn't use the Mixed layout.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Sorry, but I don't have knowledge to know what to choose between, mixed, standard or list.

How do I implement the choice? whats the implications on the theme layout? What changes will I see if I choose say standard.

    Kindly advise.

Or if this is diffcuilt to do the lists, please direct me to change the links for the whole theme to be with underlying line so it doesn't rely on color only.

Maybe fixing the links will bring the accessibility score to green.

    Hi,

To address the contrast issue reported on Google PageSpeed Insight, you need to change the text color, not the text decoration.

I've changed it for your site.

    Please check again.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Thank you  so much for the help.

I sent you earlier to enquire how to change the URLs so it doesn't rely on color only. This is lowering the site accessibility score too.

Please advise how I can change the urls for the site to show url with underlying for the whole site, so I can gain points for the accebility.

Dear Support, Any update? As the Accebility score is the only one low.

    1) Please advise how to change the color of the text in the box "continue reading" below posts.

    2) Change the color of the links or maybe better how to use underlying so not only rely on color of text.

    Hi,

The issue is that the color you've changed still doesn't make a big difference. Please check the color with higher contrast at this link: https://coolors.co/contrast-checker/112a46-acc8e5

I followed the color you suggested it didn't change the accessibility score. I had before even higher contrast number and still its not changing the Accessibility Rank. There is issues with the titles of the categories please see attached image.

    Hi,

All the text colors in the screenshot you sent are too light to be seen clearly. Please change it to a semi-black color, and then check again.

    PenciDesign.
