Lazyload and cache plugin conflict

    Hello,

I am currently using the latest version of the theme (ver. 8.4.8) on my website hosted on Cloudways, with the Breeze plugin enabled for caching.

I would like lazyload function NOT affect on featured images (due to they are usually the first image user saw enter the website).

When "Delay all images loading in the first screen to optimize LCP value" is on, the featured images do not load automatically upon entering the website. Instead, they only start loading after the user interacts with the page (e.g., scrolling on mobile devices).

I turned on the option "Disable lazyload for featured images on single posts/pages" but seems not working. Upon conducting cross-testing, it appears that the Cloudways Breeze caching plugin is causing this issue.

I also tried W3 Total Cache and set it like the document(https://soledad.pencidesign.net/soledad-document/#speed-optimization), but it seems have the same results (featured images still lazyloaded).

    Any suggestion? Thanks.

    Hi,

In this case, you need to turn on all the disable option at the Appearance → Customize → Speed Optimization → General & Lazyload and then check again.

    PenciDesign.

    Hello,

It works now, thank you. May I know what are the changes?

I saw you turned off the "Delay all images loading in the first screen to optimize LCP value" option and leave all other disable options on, does the lazyload still working under this configuration?

    Thanks you

    Regards,

    Eddie

    Hi,

Yes. I've turned off the "Delay all images loading in the first screen to optimize LCP value". This option will enable the lazyload features for your site.

    PenciDesign.
