I am trying to understand how to impliment custom post types for different categorys. So I finally found out how to globally change the post type for the whole site, however I want to option to change the post layout per post or per category. I have multiple Category layouts/themes for each category which I downloaded via Elementor, but there are only a few Post Type options...recipe not included unless my main theme is the recipe them (currently it is not) and even if I could understand how to build the recipe post type..I cannot figure out how to have just that post type for just the recipes verses assigning it to the entire website..Hope that makes sense...I have looked thru all of the documentation and have not found anything other than creating custom post templates and how to globably assign them. Please advise.
