    Good day!

I would be very grateful for help with the following questions. I am a beginner in WP, but unfortunately, I can't figure out the seemingly simple questions below, so I am grateful in advance for your help and detailed instructions.

    (1) In the theme, there is an option to choose one of ten Single Post Templates for displaying a post. How can I customize the selected style?

For example, I want to remove social media icons and place only the Share button.

I want to change the placement and color of the post date, how can I do that?

I want to remove the author from the bottom of the post.

"Edit with Elementor" gives me only 3 options – "Footer", "Site Settings", "Theme builder", and accordingly, I cannot edit the post style as I need.

I understand that it's possible to create my own style and apply it, but if I am fine with the proposed style, how can I modify it to suit my needs?

    (2) When navigating to the category menu, "CATEGORY: OPINION" is displayed.

How can I remove the word CATEGORY?

How can I add 1-2 sentences after the category name "OPINION"?

I see that there are several category layouts. Is it possible to customize them to my needs? Elementor does not give me this option.

    (3) How can I add a "Load more" button at the bottom?

    (4) How to disable comments for all posts, as well as the "0 comments" indicator when displaying posts?

    (5) Archive Template – is it possible to download templates from your library and how to do it?

    Kind regards,

    Yuriy

    Hi,

    1. You can customize all the single post elements for the pre-build style by going to Appearance → Customize → Single Posts → General.

Please read the document at this link for more information: https://soledad.pencidesign.net/soledad-document/#posts

    2. Navigate to Customize → General → Category, Tag, Search, Archive Pages: turn on the "Remove "Category:" Words on Category Pages" option,

Go to Dashboard → Posts → Categories: select the Category name that you want to add the custom text and add the text in the Description field,

If you want to create a custom layout, please go to the dashboard → Archive Templates: create a new template with the Elementor: https://soledad.pencidesign.net/soledad-document/#archive_page

In Customize → General → Category, Tag, Search, Archive Pages: turn on the "Enable Load More Button for Categories, Tags, Search, Archive Pages" option,

    4. Go to Appearance → Customize → Posts Layouts → Standard and Classic Layouts / Other Layouts: turn on the "Hide Comment Count" option.

Navigate to Single Posts → General: turn on the "Hide Comment Count".

Navigate to Single Posts → Comments Form: turn on the "Hide Comments & Comment Form".

    5. You can import the pre-build archive template via the Penci Blocks. Please watch the document below:

    Search with the keyword: "Archive"

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi!

I need some help on questions below.

    1) Is it possible to apply your built-in Single Post Templates (standard post look in your theme) to my CPT (Custom Post Type)? When I try to apply a template to my CPT using the Custom Post Type Builder, in the menu I can only select templates that I have created or "None."

1.1 Can I take your standard Single Post Template and create my Custom Post Template based on it using Elementor Pro? If so, how can I do this?

1.2 If it is still not possible to create my CPT Template based on your Single Post Template, how can I achieve the same format and styling as used in the theme? For example, I want my CPT Template to use the same styles as your standard posts (e.g., Blockquote Style and others). Also, if I change the Accent Color or other theme settings, how can these be applied to my CPT?

    2) I changed the Hover Color for post titles. The changes were applied to the category pages, but on the main page, the Hover Color for post titles did not change (it displays either the Accent color or the standard color that was set in the theme). How can I fix this?

    3) I refer to you answer on question #1 below. Unfortunetelly I didnt find option how to remove social media icons and place only the Share button. Pls advise how to do that

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi,

    1. You need to publish the post template before selecting it at Appearance → Customize → Single Posts →

    Custom Post Types Builder.

The custom post-type template only supports the template you've created at the dashboard → Post Template. It doesn't support templates that are created with the Elementor PRO.

    2. Please send me the homepage URL,

    3. Go to Appearance → Customize → General → Like Posts & Social Share: change the share icon on this panel.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Thank you for the quick response. Sorry for not describing my questions clearly enough; I am still a beginner, so sorry.

    (1) Regarding the CPT Template for my CPT. I see that I can create a CPT Template in two ways:

    (a) via Elementor Pro

    (b) using the capabilities of the theme Custom Post Type Builder.

Both options are fine for me, and I have tried creating a CPT Template using both methods. So far, I don't see any difference in which option is better or what limitations exist (if you can, please share your opinion).

My question is the following: I like the formatting and design of the Posts in your theme and want to use it for my CPT. When I create a new CPT Template, the design of the post needs to be done from scratch. Could you please tell me how I can use your standard design for posts for my CPT Template? For example, how can I take your standard Single Post Template (design) and create a CPT Template based on it? Or, if I need to design the post from scratch, how can I achieve the same design as yours?

    (2) I am sending the link in private messages. Please pay attention to the Hover Color on different posts on the main page and the category page (on the category page, the correct color I set is displayed).

    (3) Regarding Social Media buttons, I found how to enable/disable individual social media, so that's fine. However, my question was whether it's possible to leave, for example, one button “Share”, which, when clicked, gives the option to share on specific social media? For example, here is an implementation of such a variant:

I have few more additional questions where I need your help. Sorry if they seem basic or obvious.

I tried to create a new post and achieve the same formatting as other posts in your theme, but I couldn't get it.

Quotes. I added a quote, but it does not display in the same formatting as other quotes in your theme. It shows up in the standard quote appearance without any formatting. I'm attaching a screenshot.

Gallery. I created a gallery, but there is no option to add the effects that are present in your posts (i.e., when entering the created Gallery, the GALLERY SETTINGS are missing, so I can't choose the Grid style, for example). Additionally, the added photos do not respond to clicks. I'm attaching a screenshot.

When I edit a post available in the theme, there is an additional floating menu for editing. When I create my own post, this menu is missing. I'm attaching a screenshot of the menu that appears when editing your posts and is absent in the post created by me.

Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix this?

    Hi,

You are currently using the default WordPress block style for quotes and galleries.

Please click the Soledad button on the screenshot you sent, then insert the element you want to display.

    Hi,

In my post, I mentioned, "When I create my own post, this menu is missing." However, when I edit posts you created (which I downloaded with the theme), this menu, shown in the picture below, is available. When I create a new post, this menu is missing (please see the attachments).

Also, I would like to kindly remind you about my post with 3 questions below. I have sent you credentials in private message but have not received reply, pls kindly advise how to solve these issues.
