    Hi,

You should upload the Soledad theme and the child theme files. Then, activate the Soledad child theme and start customizing the options.

    PenciDesign.

Wait, so the correct order is Install Main theme > Activate > Install Demo Content > Install & Activate child theme and THEN start customizing pages etc? What I did so far - since I've been using it for a while is that I installed the main theme activated it then imported content and then I've been customizing it...

    Hi,

No. The correct way is to install and activate the Child theme first, then start to import the demo content and customize your site.

    PenciDesign.

So am I supposed to install the main theme or the child theme? or both? Lets say I buy the template how do I correctly set it up?

Also, can you please let me know what the issue is going to be now for me? if there's any issue, because as I said what I did was activate the main theme then imported demo and then I've been customizing it ever since

    Hi,

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Upload the `soledad.zip` file via Appearance → Themes. DO NOT activate it.
    2. Upload the `soledad-child.zip` file via Appearance → Themes and ACTIVATE this theme.
    3. Start to customize and import demo data.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.
