    Yesterday I spoke with Hosting Support to resolve the Cron event issues, they disabled the firewalls, and it was resolved, I want to ask if you can make the website work without the firewall or another way to avoid the error: cURL error 28: Failed to connect port 443 after 10002 ms: Timeout was reached (Code: http_request_failed)

    Hi,

    CURL is not a dependency of WordPress. However, some plugins may require CURL to fetch content from external sources.
