may I ask, should images on mobile devices scale down when compared to desktop? When I download an image via a mobile device, its the same size as on desktop.
In the link you sent, only the featured image contains the responsive image size, so the browser will automatically download the image that fits the device's screen.
Sorry but not sure if I understand, shouldnt all the images in posts scale down on a mobile device to be smaller in size when compared to desktop? If I take this post for example:
1. Only some post images contain the responsive tag. Most of the post layout images are already optimized in size, so they don't need to use the smallest image size for mobile.
2. I've checked the post you sent, the Safari iOS downloaded this image URL: https://www.lenivakucharka.sk/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/francuzske-palacinky-crepes-suzette-5-585x390.jpg

If I download the featured image on desktop, its 66kb, the second recipe image isĀ 85kb.
If I download the same images on mobile, they are the very same size as on desktop. Should it work like this on Soledad?
thank you
