    Hi,

    I have 2 questions:

    1. I would like to install your theme from the very beginning and create a child theme to start working in. How can I do that? Unfortunately, I didn't find information about this in the documentation and forum.
    2. Can I use my license for 2 websites during the development process? While developing, I would like to work with 2 websites, and one will be deleted before the launch of the second one.

    Hi,

    1. Please read the document details at this link: https://soledad.pencidesign.net/soledad-document/#import-demo. If you want to use the child theme, please upload and activate the soledad-child.zip file.

    2. You can activate the license code for one domain only. If you need to activate the dev site, please send me this site URL.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused with the following comment on envato forum:

" Always better to active child theme because if in future you update the parent theme to keep theme uptodate then your custom work in child theme will keep safe. So, you will need to install both parent and child theme and active child theme and do all custom work in child theme.''

I downloaded theme again on my envato account, soledad.zip weight is 10Mb, soledad-child.zip weight is only 60kb. Should I install soledad-child.zip or what is the correct process to install both parent and child theme and active child theme? I want to start developing from the very beginning and work in child theme because of comment above.

Speaking about license will reply in private message.

    Hi,

    1. I've activated the developer license for your staging site,

    2. About the child theme install, please follow these steps:

    - Go to Appearance → Themes: upload the "solead.zip" file first, not activated it yet,

    - Continue uploading the "soledad-child.zip" file then activate it.

I've created a video tutorial for your case, please check it here: https://streamable.com/gwvgfm

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi,

    1. As I mentioned in the previous reply, the testing site was registered with the developer license, so please don't revoke it. Please don't modify anything related to the purchase code on the testing site.

    2. You should use the purchase code obtained from ThemeForest to activate it on the main site.

    3. If you want to create a temporary site and remove it within 30 days, you don't need to activate it.

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.

    Hi,
the issue is I can't activate main website with code obtained from ThemeForest. The message is attached in my previous private response. In other words, I have one code, It is already used on the testing website I would like to keep for now, and the same code is not accepted by theme on the main website I have installed a day ago.
