Hello. On my new Soledad site mile5.com, when I upload images to the media library, they are going through an automatic optimization and I can't figure out what is doing it. I want to be able to turn optimization on and off. Any clues would be helpful. I don't see anything about this in the support forum. OK Thanks !!, Regards - Mal
I have an admin ID setup for future Soledad use but I figured out what is happening. I've been building WP since 2009. I was just surprised to upload a bunch of images yesterday to the media library and they all got compressed and scaled down. Turns out it is because the default now for the maximum image length is 2,560 px. So anything bigger gets compressed and scaled down. Smaller images are uploaded as is. I do appreciate your help Soledad !! Thank You ! Regards - Mal (Please close this ticket - ty)
