Single Post Page

How do I set the single post page to have its own side bar and where can I set the look and feel of the single post page.

Based on a previous closed ticket :

 Please go to Appearance → Customize → Single Posts → General: change the following options:

- Custom Sidebar for Single

- Custom Sidebar Left for Single

When I select the single post based on a created Single Post, it shows a sidebar banner but not content.

The second response:

Appearance → Customize → General → Category, Tag, Search, Archive Pages: change all the category styles in this section

When the category style is changed, content shows but it does not show the sidebar banner.

I am trying to replicate the sidebar on the homepage on the single post /category pages.

Which of the following is for the single post: post_sidebar, Main Post and Main Sidebar Left or where do I get it done?
