    Hi there,

    Everytime I update my Soledad theme, I seem to lose some changes on my site (i.e. tracking scripts for Google Analytics). Is the child theme setup so this shouldn't happen in the future? Thank you.

    Hi,

    That's strange. All the GA and AD code is inserted into the database, so it shouldn't be lost when the theme is updated.

    For this case, please send me your WordPress admin account in a PRIVATE reply.

    Hi,

    I’ve checked your site, and the issue may be related to the cache plugin.

    I recommend adding the code by going to the dashboard → Soledad → Ads Manager.

    Add what code? All of it? Can you provide more specific guidance, as it is really frustrating to lose important custom changes to my site every time I update the theme. Thank you.

    I mean you should paste the tracking script into the dashboard → Soledad → Ads Manager → Header.
