Hey guys, 

Few issues experienced recently to finalize my setup : 

1/ Why does the change of font in Customize -> Post Layouts for Other Layouts not apply the change of Font in the Titles ? It never gets applied properly. While testing it in the customize it works but when opening any other tab to verify the site it does not get applied even after pushing multiple times on Publish. 

2/ How shall we work with the Recipe feature when having translations in the website (I use Polylang option) ? What I experienced is that I can create easily another language post on top of my initial one (French - English). The Elementor part keeps obviously the translated Elementor blocks but for the shortcode with [penci_recipe] its not the case. This means that anytime I change the Ingredients or the Instructions section in one language, it applies the same to the other and vice versa. Which makes it unusable for showing some recipe in French and then English. My workaround is to create a totally new page in the other language I want, but I consider this as bad user experience and could be improved, so if you know how to fix it please let me know. 

3/ How to reduce the space between the header and the content of my website without Using Full Width Page model for Posts ? 

For 2. I do not mean the shared sections like the titles or so, I understood I can handle some words translation with Quick Text Translations.
What I meant here is that the content of the steps for the recipe I give, keep one language for both versions. Like this section in attachment : 
Everytime I save One it replaces the text of the other and all gets lost. This would be a limit of the feature combined with the translations option if this cannot be fixed. I don't think I can handle that through Quick Text Translations or please show me how to do so. 

For 3. Thanks it worked as expected :) 

For 1. I removed all the Fonts Size settings applied to Default (No value) on Elementor side and this did not impact what the Post Layout shows as size. It miraculously changed once when I tried a way bigger size in Customize -> Posts Layout -> Font Size. 

ANd now again it does not save on top of the current setting. Pretty weird behaviour of sometimes applying changes (when you get lucky) or not.  Anything else as fonts worked fine to be updated on the site through the page builder. I would find it surprising this very specific part is influenced by Elementor s kit. 

I removed everything for h2 from Elementor now and the 15px still remains whenever I try to save the Soledad settings to 20px. What next ? 


And please could you answer my last request for 2. ? Still unsure about your solution on this. 

Here it is, not sure if you require something else.

We can see 15 PX is selected in Customize -> Post Layout -> FOnt Size and I can switch to any size (would like 20 PX as you saw and shared in your previous screenshot with Elementor Kit but its not applied at all). When I put 20 PX it shows correctly in the customize tab but once I check any other nothing is saved and it goes back to 15 PX which wirtes over any of my changes. I would not think Elementor has anything to do with that in overwriting something not effectively saved on the Soledad Theme. 

You are showing the default 15PX which is never able to be changed to another value since my original request. 

I want 20 PX but its not getting applied, what can I do to get this value changed when am showing its not working from the beginning and your screenshot shows literally that 15PX stays for no reason ? 

Thanks, can you please give me some hints in what was exactly the problem there or what I could do to identify this if it would reoccur ? So that I can fix this by myself ? 

And how about 2. the Recipe translation issue ? Thats still the main point of concern I have to avoid duplicating pages for the sake of proper translation within my website.

Additionnaly the PolyLang Languages feature seems somehow broken. The Translation section does not allow me to change footer category to another language (or many other string translations). Leading to me not being able to fetch footer_en as my footer for the English version of my website -> I have the french footer in my english version which is not wishable. I used to see hundreds of strings to be able to be changed and now only 8 for some reason. 

I tried disabling recent extensions I added or even Deactivate and reactivate Polylang nothing worked) + I enabled everything I could in the personalizzed taxonomies.

Any idea what else to do and what could be the root cause for that ?

I mentionned that I have done this before and it worked but somehow now I only get 8 elements showing up in this String translation section which are not penci_footer_builder_layout or pchdbd_all.
It somehow disappeared due to some steps done since the last time I did that.

Seems that your last update fixed it somehow BUT it brought and broke something new ... 

So after the last version I can select properly translation. BUT NOW the icon size gets screwed up for whatever reason. The background keeps the 28px I set in the Elementor but seems the icon specifically overrides its size no matter what I put in Elementor icon size.

Can you check that and verify what your last update brought up to break what was previously always working ? 

I checked few things on the .elementor-icon  elements and stuff but pretty much no conclusion to take out of it. 

I first did the Elementor version update there was no issue, then updating Soledad theme made the issue to show up (and solving your polylang translation). 

When I do the rollback for Elementor version the issue stays. This is why I concluded it is Soledad theme which breaks the sizes. So its hard to confirm your statement.

1/ I am still waiting on any updates about recipe translation fix, anything new ? 

2/ problem of footer object translation reappeared once again, so only 8 objects are offered to be translated (footer is not there and I end up with my French version in the english section), what can be done to make it definitely fixed and work properly ?

I dont see anything fixed to be honest, my english page shows still some french footer and the languages translation still dont show me any footer options, so would be good to tell me what you are trying to do and achieve and what we can do to fix this permanently without it occuring again. 

Been quite some time, is there any update or fix ongoing ?
I would like to have an accurate website which shows proper language to my user and the corresponding features of the theme without tricky workarounds.

It has been 3 times I am told I shall get updates end of this week but nothing came. Can you provide a trustful timeline that I can at least look for or shall I handle this by myself ? 
I am pretty disappointed by the support communication as of now.
