I’m currently configuring my theme locally. I have a live site that I copied, but the site is very large.
I wanted to know if there’s a way to transfer only the theme once everything is configured locally (without moving the articles, pages, or other content).
I’ve created page templates, category templates, and others. So, it would need to migrate those as well.
Is there a way to download all the parts related to the templates and upload them to my site that’s already running online?
You can install the UpdraftPlus plugin to back up your local data and then restore it on the live site. The plugin also allows you to select specific database tables to copy.
For detailed instructions, please refer to the documentation at this link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/
