Last week you helped me solve a few things on my website and one of the issues was that my page often goes funny like the screenshot attached.
You told me to do this:
Go to Appearance → Customize → Speed Optimization → Optimize CSS, enable the "Create Critical CSS" option, clear all caches, and check again
but I don't have the option "Optimize CSS", only "General & Lazyload".
I left it because everything was working fine but now it's back to looking incorrect. Usually if I change anything in customise it goes back to normal but that's not working now.
Could you please help me again?
The issue with the posts needing a "push" to show up is still happening too. You told me to delete LiteSpeed (I did) and purge all cache (I did) but it's still happening. I also deleted WP Optmize in case that was also an issue.
I tried that and at least yesterday the layout is ok. However, changes I made to the menu bar and an added widget on the sidebar were not appearing. Now it's back to that funky layout again.
Is it not odd that I don't have that "Optmize CSS" option in the Speed Optimization section in Customize?
The Optimize CSS option is not available in the Speed Optimizations panel because you haven't activated the Penci Shortcode & Performance plugin. This plugin helps optimize and speed up the Soledad theme.
Since you're using a third-party plugin (WP-Compress), you need to check or adjust the settings directly in that plugin.
If you’d like to switch from WP-Compress to the Penci Shortcode & Performance plugin, please confirm in this ticket, and I’ll help you configure it properly.
I've disabled WP-Compress already and it seems to have helped. However, it was helping my website load faster. If the Penci S&P plugin can do that instead of WP and stop the layout troubles, I'm happy to switch.

Hi,
I've checked your site, and the issue is caused by the WP-Compress plugin.
You've enabled the Critical CSS option, but it failed to scan the CSS file, resulting in a layout issue.
In this case, please disable all CSS optimization options in WP-Compress, then check again.

PenciDesign.

Ok, I've tried to install the Penci Shortcode & Performance plugin a few times but it's failing - here's the screenshot with the message
There's no option to update/activate the plugin, only install

Hi,
I've configured your site to work with the Penci Shortcode & Performance plugin alongside W3 Total Cache.
Please clear your browser cache and check again.

Thank you! Looks like everything is working now
