"I've created an archive template and assigned it to the relevant category. Under Category → Sidebar, I selected 'Yes' for Apply these settings to all posts in this category? and enabled the display of the sidebar. However, the sidebar is not appearing when viewing the category page."
I have added screenshot of category page setting for your reference.
Please help me to call sidebar widget on category page with archive template.
Please go to Appearance → Customize → General → Category, Tag, Search, Archive Pages → turn on the "Show Child Categories on Single Category Page" option.
Unfortunately, the current version of Soledad doesn’t support displaying subcategory descriptions or options to change the column layout or add 'Read More' text for child categories.
However, we’ll review this and consider adding it in a future theme update.

Hi,
Please note that this option does not apply to custom archive templates — it only appears on the default category page.
