One of our technical partners pointed out that our website is using an unusually large amount of memory (see image 0). For example, he noticed a console error that increases in number every millisecond (see image 2). For comparison, he also checked a page from a colleague’s site (image 1). It seems there might be a memory leak or something similar going on. This could also affect the auto-open functionality in our newsletter — if the browser becomes overloaded, certain events may fail. Do you have any idea what might be causing this and whether it can be fixed?

Hi,
I’ve checked https://smaakmenutie.nl/ on my browser, and it loads normally without any memory issues. You can see the screenshot below for reference.
Please note that memory usage in Chrome tabs can vary between different computers or laptops depending on factors such as:
Available system memory (RAM): Devices with less RAM may experience higher usage or slower performance.
Background processes: Other running applications can affect Chrome’s available memory.
Browser extensions: Installed extensions or add-ons may consume additional resources.
Chrome version and cache: Outdated browsers or large caches can also impact memory usage.
So even if the site loads fine on one device, another device with lower resources or conflicting extensions might still show higher memory usage.
Regards,
PenciDesign.
