    How to hide categories from top of post on individual posts. Wish to hide an uncategorized category from view.

    Hi,

    Please go to Appearance → Customize → Single Posts → General: turn on the "Hide Category" option.

    Thank you Penci, to clarify, this turns off category visibility on ALL single posts. Can I retain category listing on most posts and pick and choose certain posts to hide the category? Is it all or nothing?

    Hi,

    This option will turn off category display for all posts. There is no option to modify it for individual posts, pages, or categories.
