Please try uploading the image in another format, such as PNG or JPG. If the problem still persists, please send me a screenshot of the issue along with the admin account, and I will check and help you resolve this case.
If the issue occurs only with WebP images, it may be related to the WordPress core image resize function. Please try uploading the image in a standard format first, then use a third-party plugin to convert it to WebP. Avoid uploading WebP files directly to prevent this issue.
The featured images on my homepage appear too squeezed. Could you please tell me where I can adjust the settings to display them correctly?
Hi,
I’ve checked your site, and all the images are displaying correctly without any issues. Do you mean that you want all images to appear uncropped?

PenciDesign.
No, when I upload images in WebP format, the generated thumbnails are of very poor quality and appear extremely pixelated.
Hi,
Have you installed any image optimization plugin?
Regards,
PenciDesign.
No, there don’t seem to be any such plugins. There is W3 Total Cache, but this feature is disabled in it.

The issue occurs only with WebP files. JPG or PNG files work fine.
