    Hello Penci Team,

    I have a separate question about Soledad’s built-in posts-based featured slider.

I would like to know whether the slider query can be customized on a page-specific basis.

For example, on a Drinks page, I want the slider to pull posts from selected drink subcategories so that the slider images and content reflect that page specifically, rather than using one blanket global featured image source. My goal is for each page to have its own distinct slider content and visual identity based on the posts assigned to that section.

I am not referring to Revolution Slider. I want to use Soledad’s built-in posts-based slider styles because they offer more relevant post-based layout options.

    Can you please confirm:

    1. Whether the query for the built-in posts-based featured slider can be customized
    2. Whether that query can be controlled separately for individual pages
    3. Whether a page like Drinks can pull slider posts from selected subcategories only
    4. Whether this can be done natively in the theme, or if it requires custom development

    Thank you.

    Hi,

If you would like to use the featured slider with a custom query, I recommend building the page with the Elementor page builder. Insert the Penci Featured Slider and modify the query as needed. You can watch the video documentation here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSZCdy1HsLI

    Regards,
    PenciDesign.
