Hello PenciDesign Support,

I recently purchased PenNews from ThemeForest and am setting up a brand-new website.

I'm experiencing an issue with WPBakery Page Builder.

• Theme: PenNews v6.7.5
• WordPress: 7.0
• WPBakery Page Builder: v8.7.3
• Hosting: GoDaddy
• PHP: 8.3.31

• WPBakery Page Builder is installed and activated.
• The Backend Editor buttons do not appear when editing any page (including my Home page).
• Clicking "Edit with WPBakery" opens a 404 Page Not Found.
• Clicking "Install Plugins" from the PenNews Welcome page returns "Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page."
• The Home page is correctly assigned as the Front Page under Settings → Reading.
• WPBakery Role Manager is set to Pages Only, and the Backend Editor is enabled.
• I have already refreshed permalinks, but the issue remains.

Could you please help me determine whether this is:

1. A PenNews compatibility issue,
2. A WPBakery installation issue,
3. A server/permission issue,
4. Or something else?
