Is there not a way to update the theme from without our wordpress site? The license is under my clients account, and it's a pain to have to go back to them to ask them to download the latest version.
Also, my client wants to add google admanager ads either above the header or below it, or possibly between the top menu bar and the logo. This is our current design: https://cinemontage2.org/
And lastly, he really wants a search bar, instead of an icon and pop up search. Is there an option for that in the theme?
Theme Update: To update the theme, please access your WordPress dashboard and follow the update process. You can refer to the documentation below for detailed instructions:
Managing Ad Banners: You can manage ad banners by navigating to Dashboard → Soledad → Ads Manager. In this case, simply paste the ad code into Header → Add Custom Code After Header Wrap.
Theme Update: Is there not a way to update this without having to download the files. As I mentioned, the account is my client's account, so I'd have to get them to download the latest file every time there's an update. Other premium themes I've used can be updated right in the back end.
Managing Ad Banners: We use Google Ad Manager, not AdSense. It is possible to connect admanager ads into the theme?
Search bar: And lastly, he really wants a search bar, instead of an icon and pop up search. Is there an option for that in the theme?
1/ You can update the theme without downloading the files. Simply install the Envato Market plugin and enter your token key. All updates will be applied automatically in the background.
2/ The current version of Soledad does not include a built-in feature to connect with Google Ad Manager. You need to add this manually via Dashboard → Soledad → Ads Manager → Header.
I'm still struggling with how to get our ads into your theme. I've not used AdSense, only AdManager. Would adding an app like Advanced Ads be compatible with your theme? That's what we use currently.
But I did get the header built the way I want, so thanks for that!

Thank you, but that didn't answer my questions:

Hi,

2/ The current version of Soledad does not include a built-in feature to connect with Google Ad Manager. You need to add this manually via Dashboard → Soledad → Ads Manager → Header.
3/ If you want to display the search form instead of the button, use the Penci Header Builder. Drag and drop the Search Form element into the desired area. Here is a general video guide: https://soledad.pencidesign.net/soledad-document/#header-footer-builder

For number 1, thank you! I will set that up.
For #2, I'm testing to see if just pasting the publisher tag code will work.
For 3, I'll play around with the header builder. It's a shame though, I like the current header just as it is now.
Thank you again for your help. It's a powerful theme, I feel like I've only learned about 10% of what it can actually accomplish!
Speaking of, do you have video tutorials instead of writen documentation. I sometimes can follow those better.

Hi,
The Soledad theme is compatible with all ad managers, so you can install and use Advanced Ads without any issues.
